BIOGRAPHY

Before returning to Pittsburgh, Jenifer appeared in productions across the country and around the world. She first appeared in Salzburg, Austria as Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro) and later returned to Austria to participate in the AIMS program, performing as a soloist in one of six Orchesterkonzerte as well as community concerts. Jenifer was featured in 5 public concerts during the Orvieto Musica festival in Orvieto, Italy. Kansas City offered performance opportunities such as Tolomeo (Giulio Cesare), Marie (Most Happy Fella), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Mum (Albert Herring), Dorabella (Cosi fan tutte), and Juno (Semele). Exciting adventures continued in Eureka Springs when Jenifer appeared as Mrs. Ott (Susannah), Marcellina (Le Nozze di Figaro), and Suzuki (Madame Butterfly).

After returning to Pittsburgh to raise her family, Jenifer began performing with several local companies. Her first role in Pittsburgh was with Undercroft Opera as La Frugola (Il Tabarro) and La Zelatrice (Suor Angelica). She went on to sing Sesto (La Clemenza di Tito), Mrs. Ott (Susannah), Third Lady (Die Zauberflote), and Giulo Cesare (Giulio Cesare) with Undercroft and participated in their holiday showcase three years in a row at the Phipps Conservatory. Jenifer has also performed with Microscopic Opera as the Woman (Riders to the Sea) and Mrs. Borden-cover (Lizbeth). She was honored to perform as a Witch (Macbeth) in Resonance Work's inaugural production and in subsequent concerts. Jenifer also enjoys singing with the Pittsburgh Opera chorus.

A new outlet for creativity was found bringing new pieces to audiences with the composer Daniel Eichenbaum. Since their first collaboration, Your Boy Leads and My Father's List have been performed several times across the country.

Jenifer has joined the ranks of Opera On Tap. She founded the Pittsburgh Chapter and provides performance opportunities and community outreach as the Artistic Director for OOTPGH.
